Meal Planning Resources

It's often helpful to see examples of others meal planning and preparation.  This can help you to check your work, and think through all of the considerations.  I planned, prepared the shopping list, and with help, prepared the meals for the Camping 101.  In this post, I have included the planning documents I used. If you have questions or feedback, please let me know.

Weather Policy

Leading up to our latest campout, the leadership fielded a lot of questions about the weather and whether (see what I did there?) or not we would cancel or postpone the campout. Generally speaking we will not cancel an event or camping trip if the weather looks to be less than ideal. The Scout Motto is "Be Prepared" and we will do everything we can to make sure scouts are prepared for whatever mother nature may choose to send our way.
